Jens Hutzschenreuter

Dr. Jens Hutzschenreuter is a B2B sales and marketing expert with a background in consulting, entrepreneurship, and leadership. As co-founder of CityDeal (acquired by Groupon), he scaled operations across 16 markets and led global sales teams of up to 250 employees. Now, he focuses on building high-performing B2B sales organizations through his consultancy, Digital Business Group, and his headhunting firm, SalesPotentials.

Qualifications

Jens holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Doctorate in Entrepreneurship from RWTH Aachen University. He also served as a Visiting Scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His extensive experience includes:

  • Developing a structured B2B sales model, comparable to the "Toyota Production System" for B2B sales.
  • Rolling out this model in various global markets, including the UK, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, the USA, and the DACH region.
  • Managing large sales teams, with up to 200 inside and outside sales representatives in the USA and up to 800 employees in the Germany, Austria, and Switzerland region.
